MIFEGEST 200MG KIT TABLET is a combination of two drugs, used for medical abortion (terminating a pregnancy). This medication blocks the action of progesterone, a female hormone necessary to maintain pregnancy and induce contractions in the uterus, which further helps in abortion.
MIFEGEST KIT TABLET should be taken with food or as directed by your doctor. You should start with the mifepristone dose.
It should be taken orally, swallowing the tablets whole with a glass of water. If you experience vomiting within 30 minutes of taking the tablet, tell your doctor or take another tablet.
The medication may take 24 to 48 hours to show its action and you may experience spotting or bleeding. After a period of 36 to 48 hours, you should take misoprostol tablets, either orally or vaginally.
You are suggested to take enough rest after taking the dose as it may cause severe stomach pain or vaginal bleeding leading to miscarriage.

an ectopic pregnancy
Treated with long-term corticosteroids
hereditary porphyria
Problem with the adrenal glands
Bleeding problems or she is taking anticoagulant (blood thinner) medications
An intrauterine device (IUD) in place must be removed before taking this medication.
The dose usually given is 200 MG orally once and after about 2 to 3 days, the dose is increased to about 800 MG every 24 to 48 hours. However, these are not dosage patterns that you should assign to yourself and you should always consult a doctor.
